जहां धोनी भी झुकाते हैं सिर

RANCHI: क्रिकेट के फलक के तारे टीम इंडिया के कैप्टन कूल महेंद्र सिंह धौनी की तमाड़ स्थित दिउड़ी मंदिर में काफी आस्था है. वे हर सिरीज से पहले यहां जरूर आते हैं. इस मंदिर के पुजारी मनोज पंडा तो अब 'धौनी के फेवरेट पुजारी के रूप में फेमस हो गए हैं. इसकी वजह यह है कि महेंद्र सिंह धौनी जब भी रांची में होते हैं और दिउड़ी मंदिर जाते हैं, तो वह वहां मनोज पंडा से ही पूजा कराते हैं.
दिउड़ी मंदिर को लेकर खुद धौनी का मानना है कि आज वह जो कुछ हैं, मां दिउड़ी के आशीर्वाद के बलबूते ही हैं. धौनी के अलावा उनकी वाइफ, उनके परिवार के लोग और फ्रेंड्स भी इस मंदिर में पूजा करने आते हैं. साल 2011 में वल्र्ड कप में जीत की दुआ मांगने और जीत मिलने के बाद आभार जताने और दिसंबर 2009 में अपने कॅरियर के शानदार पांच साल पूरे होने पर धौनी ने यहां विशेष पूजा की थी.

पहले से मंदिर आ रहे हैं धौनी
मनोज पंडा बताते हैं कि टीम इंडिया में चुने जाने से पहले से ही धौनी इस मंदिर
में पूजा करने आते रहे हैं. क्रीज पर अपने खेल जीवन के शुरुआती दिनों में और 1998-99 में रणजी टीम में कदम रखने से पहले से
ही वह मंदिर में पूजा के लिए आ रहे हैं. उनकी मां दिउड़ी में गहरी आस्था है, इसलिए जब भी रांची में होते हैं, मंदिर जरूर आते हैं. नौ मार्च को भी धौनी मंदिर आए थे और यहां आधा घंटा रुककर उन्होंने विधि-विधान से मां की पूजा की. दिउड़ी मंदिर मां काली के अवतार का
मंदिर है.

जो धौनी के लिए, वह सबके लिए

पुजारी मनोज पंडा बताते हैं कि धौनी जब भी मंदिर आते हैं, तब उनकी ओर से पूजा मां के मंत्र ओम सर्व मंगल मांगल्य शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके शरण्ने त्रयंबके गौरी नारायणी नमोस्तुते से होती है. उसके बाद महेंद्र सिंह धौनी पुष्पदान कर मां की पूजा करते हैं. मनोज पंडा कहते हैं- जो पूजा हम धौनी की ओर से करते हैं, वही पूजा सबकी ओर से करते हैं. उसमें कुछ अलग नहीं होता. हालांकि, एक बात जरूर होती है कि जब धौनी यहां होते हैं, तो सुरक्षा कारणों से धौनी द्वारा पूजा कर लिए जाने के बाद ही अन्य भक्त पूजा कर पाते हैं. खास मौकों पर यहां धौनी विशेष पूजा भी कराते हैं.

बढ़ी है भक्तों की संख्या

मनोज पंडा बताते हैं कि महेंद्र सिंह धौनी के यहां आने से इस मंदिर का नाम देश-विदेश तक हो गया है. यह मंदिर काफी फेमस हो गया है. यहां भक्तों की संख्या में भी बढ़ोतरी हुई है. आठ साल पहले यहां ट्यूजडे और संडे को 400-500 भक्त आते थे, पर अब आम दिनों में उनकी संख्या बढ़कर 4,000 से 5,000 हो गई है. झारखंड के एमएलएज व मिनिस्टर्स के अलावा अमेरिका और इंग्लैंड से भी फॉरेनर्स यहां पूजा करने आते हैं.

धौनी ने दिया मदद का आश्वासन

तमाड़ स्थित दिउड़ी मंदिर के एक अन्य पुजारी ने बताया- आज से 3-4 साल पहले हमने धौनी से दिउड़ी मंदिर के निर्माण में सहयोग करने की बात की थी. इसपर उन्होंने सहयोग करने का भरोसा दिलाया था, पर अब तक उनकी ओर से कोई मदद नहीं मिली है. खैर, वह मंदिर के लिए जो भी दें, यह उनकी और माता की इच्छा है. हमने इसके लिए कोई निर्धारित राशि की मांग नहीं की है. लेकिन, हमें भरोसा है कि धौनी मंदिर के लिए कुछ न कुछ राशि जरूर देंगे.

Dhoni couple visits ‘Devri Temple’ after win against Australia

Ranchi:  After a 2-0 lead in Test series against Australia,  Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni went to pay respect to their deity ‘Mata Devri’ in her temple in Jharkhand’s capital.

This was not the first time the couple visited the place. After every triumph and every loss, in time of need or festivities, Dhoni has displayed an unwavering belief in the goddess. Even after the marriage the couple had come for the blessings of the eight-armed goddess.

Other cricket stars including Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Yuvraj Singh have time and again paid respect to the gods for their support in adversities and festivities.

Temple Info

A temple of Solha Bhuji Goddess Durga,is located on right side Ranchi-Tata highway(NH33) at 60 kms from Ranchi in a village named “dewri” at Tamar. It is the only temple in Jharkhand where the religious rituals are performed by the Pahans(Tribal priests) along with conventional Brahmins.

The temple is a rock sculpted structure. According to some legends Asoka used to come to worship here. This is located on the NH 33 (Ranchi- Jamshedpur) and is easily approachable by road. Fare by bus from either Ranchi or Jamshedpur is less than Rs.50.
Recently huge construction of a temple enclave is taking place here completely enclosing the original rock temple. Barricades have also been put for crowd management. Frequent visits by Indian Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is widely covered in Print Media.

Dewri Mandir is located in Tamar 60 km toward south from the capital of Jharkhand i.e. Ranchi. It is in the Tata-Ranchi  Highway (NH33). It is a very old temple of Goddess Durga. The main attraction is that the idol is having 16 Hands (Normally Goddess Durga is having 8 Hands). The temple is very old and now renovation is going on. It is made up of big stone put one over other without any cementing material in between.
